Why we're here

A place to belong — and someone who stays.

M
Our Mission

To walk with them.

Project Pluto exists to build a Christ-centered community that supports, mentors, and walks alongside foster and adoptive children and their families — giving them a place to belong, grow in faith, and experience the love of Christ.

V
Our Vision

Every child, known.

A future where every foster and adopted child has a consistent, Christ-centered community and mentor who walks with them — through every season of life, the hard ones and the bright ones alike.

People come and go — but very few stay. — Joshua Arnett, Founder
Why Project Pluto exists

Six years. One adoption. A lifetime of believing every kid deserves consistency.

Founder Joshua Arnett spent six years in the foster care system before being adopted at the age of 14. During that time, one of the most impactful challenges was a lack of consistency. People come and go, but very few stay.

Project Pluto was created to change that. We believe every child deserves people who show up, who stay, and who reflect Christ through real, lasting relationships.

This isn't a program kids age out of. It's a community that follows them through middle school, high school, and into adulthood. Project Pluto is built on the conviction that every child is worth staying for.

What we do

Three commitments. One mission.

Every program, every gathering, every relationship is shaped around one idea: showing up, and staying.

— 01

Mentorship

We connect foster and adopted children with consistent, Christ-centered mentors who invest in their lives long-term — not just for a season.

— 02

Community Gatherings

We host regular events where kids and families can build relationships, feel known, and experience a true sense of belonging.

— 03

Family Support

We support foster and adoptive families through encouragement, community, and practical care — so they never have to walk alone.
